Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved building things. That passion took me into the United States Air Force, where I learned the discipline, integrity, and attention to detail that shape how I run D.R. Baker Construction today. After earning my degree from the University of Florida’s School of Building Construction and spending valuable years managing projects with Pulte Homes and in commercial construction, I knew it was time to start something of my own.
In 2021, I launched D.R. Baker Construction to combine my lifelong passion for construction with my commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. Today, I’m proud to build custom homes and renovations in Gainesville and the surrounding areas, making sure every client feels heard, valued, and thrilled with the results. You will always see Dalton himself on a custom build with a tape message and level to verify walls and openings are level, square, and plumb.
To build exceptional, high-quality homes and renovations through clear communication, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine care, creating comfortable and personalized spaces for every homeowner.
